Twin-scroll turbocharging helps the standard Turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 engine provide 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque, while direct fuel injection and twin-independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) help contribute to efficiency. Equipped with the 2.0-liter, MKZ has an EPA-estimated rating of 31 hwy mpg. This engine is also paired with the 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and front-wheel drive or Intelligent AWD.
